This is the unofficial website of the NSF AAPF program, run by the fellows themselves. For official information about the fellowship, please go to the NSF program announcement.
Much of the information we have about newly born stars and dusty galaxies is due to analyses of the radiation we receive from these systems. I am interested in developing analytic and numerical radiative transfer methods to compute the emission from these systems that the Spitzer satellite and future infrared satellites will detect.
I am interested in developing a forum, in conjunction with the Women's Program Committee, for junior women scientists to develop their presentational and networking skills.
