I use high contrast imaging techniques and interferometry to study planet formation.
While I was a grad student I was involved in NOAO's Project Astro where I did hands-on astronomy activities with kindergarteners in Tucson public schools. More recently I've been teaching astronomy at the Santa Cruz County Jail through the UCSC Project for Inmate Education.
